Cochran's Moriarity Hat, Bittersweet Pom
Handmade high quality wool hat - made in Stowe by the Moriarty family since 1956. Bittersweet pom on top.
As the story goes, Anabel Moriarity knit a hat for her son to wear while competing in the 1956 Olympics. With limited time, she knit a wool hat with a distinctive peak that wasn't quite right, but would have to do. Little did she know that this simple hat would become the most popular and copied in the world.
